Summary Remarks
Problems of Hunt:None. Not one.
Highlights of Hunt:My wounded buddy and his PH, Craig, \"making a plan\" that resulted in Joel taking 8 animals/species. A pretty big challenge given my buddy is blind, missing a leg and a hand, and is badly burned. Stalking to within 12-15 yards of wildebeest and hartebeest in thick brush with my PH, Frank.
Equipment Recommendations:Joel used an iScope on his hunt. It worked out great.
Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend?yes
Why?The owner, Pieter, and his entire crew went well out of their way to make our hunt successful. Pieter would check in often to be sure things were going well, make adjustments, and keep his finger on the pulse of his operation. He coordinated with another landowner to get access to an area where a blind hunter could be even more successful. At our request, Joel had a specialized stool in his shower which Pieter has sinced put into storage so it will be available should we return. I would, without reservation, recommend Cruiser Safaris to anyone who thinks they can't hunt due to a disability. The entire team is focused like a laser on exceeding client expectations.nnThe PHs come from the \"old school\" of professional hunters in all the most classic ways. They are unfailingly polite, professional, and competent. They \"check in\" often during the hunt to be sure your priorities have remained the same and adjust their plans as the client adjusts wishes. nnI asked the owner if I could take a day of rest and accompany him behind the scenes and see the business end of things. He graciously agreed and that 1/2 day was one of the highlights of my trip. My military time gave me an appreciation for logistics and attention to detail and he has these nailed down.nnThe food? Amazing. Tiny knows her way around a kitchen and will cook anything you request. Ask for her spicy zebra curry and you'll leave your tongue on the floor -- wow!

Additional Hunter Comments and/or Outfitter/Booking Agent Rebuttals
We arrived two days late due to weather delays in the US. Pieter insisted we shift our hunt two days to the right so we wouldn't miss any hunt time. Likewise, our rifle permits would expire, so Mr X with Afton Guest House in Jo'berg worked with SAPS and e-mailed our new permits to the outfitter's camp. We left an adaptor in Afton House and their manager e-mailed me and she offered to meet out outbound flight to give us our adaptor.nOur taxidermist, Highveld Taxidermy, heard about Joel's hunt from Pieter and they offered to mount Joel's favorite animal for free.
