Game Sought But Not Taken:Chamois; Deer, Red
Game Conditions Comments:Chamois were abundant. I was able to get within 60 meters of several. Red deer roar was just beginning. I saw two to three stags per day (8-10 pointers) at under 100 meters.

Airline Comments:Rather than arriving in Paris and going south by train. Best to arrive Barsolona which is only two hours from hunt area.

Summary Remarks
Problems of Hunt:Very physical on chamois. 7,000 - 8,000 feet and very steep. Recommend fly camping on top for three days of hunting.
Highlights of Hunt:Stalking to within 50 meters of nice chamois. Ten meter experience with wild hog sow with four young (one of which smelled my boot).
Equipment Recommendations:Go light. One man Bivy tent and good water on top. Next time I will bring chamois decoy.
